Top 'O the Mornin to ya!

Luck 'O the Irish to ya too! Since today is St Patrick's Day I wanted to wish you all a very green day! Last night I wanted to use some left over ham, and some eggs and ham sounded good. But, on a week like this, it's not complete without about 12 drops of green food coloring from Colette! So I took a picture - it was tasty!

I also wanted to show my Irish heritage since it merits the fact that I'm wearing a brilliant green St Patrick's Day shirt complete with a hat that has a 3-leaf clover on it.

My Mother's Mother was Doris Isabel O'Brien, daughter of Edmond Joseph O'Brien Jr and Julia Isabel Dunleavy, both 100% Irish. So I inherit (along with my siblings and cousins) a full 1/4 Irish blood. Then on my father's side I have my Father's Mother was Brooksie Jean, daughter to Loula B Bard, daughter of Eva Loula Fitzgerald who had some Irish in her (not sure how much). So even though I'm like 3/8th German, I'm also 5/16 Irish. So to honor my Irish heritage I'm wearing a brilliant green St Patrick's Day shirt complete with a hat that has a 3-leaf clover on it (and I ate GREEN eggs and ham for dinner last night)!!!
